Matt Daigle is profoundly deaf but has ears to wear and is 34 years old with 13-year-old sideburns. Born and raised in America, he has lived and traveled around the US (though not yet to the northwest states). Four years ago, he settled in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in an effort to avoid deadly flying cockroaches. He has spent the past 10 years happily married to his best half and recently became a father to a baby son who made his debut appearance the day after daddy’s birthday! He is now Mr. Mom, teaching sign language to and playing with his son all day.  His nights are filled recharging his creative juices and creating the hilarious cartoons and illustrations you will find here.  He loves to spend his time producing his work to share humor and laughter with others!

Matt’s illustrating skills, developed in childhood and were honed at Northern State where he graduated with a B.A. in Advertising and Graphic Design. He worked in the field of Graphic Design for ten years, both freelancing and as full time designer. Matt recently ended his 3 yrs professional career as a graphic designer to become a full-time Mr. Mom. What better opportunity for a cartoonist than to have the time to jot down ideas all day, and be constantly inspired by baby antics! A big thanks goes to Matt’s best half who is always supportive of his artistic path as a cartoonist/illustrator… even though she still expects him to cough up ‘the bacon’ for their son’s tuition fund.
